Q: Why wasn’t my submission posted?
A: More often than not, the answer to this is that it is IN OUR QUEUE! Yelling at us/complaining will not get it posted any faster. Other common reasons are:
-It had nothing to really do with weeaboos. We focus on those obsessed with Japan, not Doctor Who, Sherlock, Homestuck, UK, etc. Homestuck stories go here: http://homestuckcontales.tumblr.com/
-Our askbox ate it! Usually if this is the case, we will alert you.
-It simply wasn’t a very good/relevant story. “I once saw a weeaboo and it was horrible” isn’t a very interesting read, sorry to say.
-It was an obvious vendetta post!
Q: Am I a weeaboo?
A: You and/or someone you know may be a weeaboo if:
-Nihon is the kawaiiest of lands and you hate being called American-baka because you are 1/14th Japanese!!!!!!!!!!!!
-You use (though you only know a few) kawaii Japanese words in your everyday speech, desu!
-You shove your bad animu art down other people’s throats and yell at them when they say they don’t look perfect
-You lecture someone about how anime is NOT japanese cartoons and they are way better than any stupid American cartoon!!!!!!!!!!One!!!!!!!!!!!
-You cosplay horribly. Just. Horribly.
-You have a piss-poor attitude when it comes to other people not liking anime/manga/your fandom/whatever, because CLEARLY they cannot see that it is the BEST thing out there EVER and OMG how could you NOT like it there MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!
You/They are not a weeaboo if:
-You are passionate about anime and manga and enjoy it as a hobby.
-You own anime/manga paraphernalia.
-You draw in an anime-esque style.
-You enjoy cosplaying.
-You are learning the Japanese language because you are genuinely interested in it.
-You understand Japan is not better than the rest of the world, as it has it’s own flaws.
Q: Can I be a mod?
