Anon: Kawaii!

So, there’s this girl at my school, we’ll call her Z. Z wears a Death Note, Hetalia, or Soul Eater t-shirt every day. Whenever she sees something that could be considered cute, she says, “That’s so kawaii even Honey-senpai would like it!” Like, she calls everything cute just so she can say that. She used to wear paper cat ears. As in, she cut out notebook paper in the shape of cat ears, colored them with markers, and taped them to a headband. They would rip often (I think from people pulling them in the hallways - as far as I know, that’s the only reason she stopped wearing them) and she would tape them back up. Our anime club had a cosplay day and she dressed as Misa Amane from Death Note, convinced for some reason that she looks just like her (she doesn’t; the only characteristic I see that they both share is that they’re both white). After commenting on how much she looked like a prostitute, one kid asked me if we were friends. This was back when I was insecure and still clung to her. I’m so glad I denied it, even if the reason was because I wasn’t sure if we had gotten to the point where I could call her my friend. She has buttons on her backpack that say things like “It’s a Domo Rainbow!” and one with Shadow from Sonic the Hedgehog. She calls herself the ‘neko mascot’ of our school. Her brother is 18 and also a freshman (apparently he’s been held back 4 times, though he doesn’t have any mental disabilities), really fat, smelly, with a full beard, and always hitting on my other friend (who’s not single and has stated bluntly several times that she’s not interested). He’s also a major weeb. His favorite anime is Boku no Pico and he aspires to one day have a room in his house dedicated to those little anime girl figurines. Someone mentioned those male Sailor Moon cosplayers once and he said he wanted to cosplay as Sailor Moon without shaving his legs or beard and to this day I don’t know if he was kidding or not.
