Anon: Cat Weeb at College
I attend a really good school. This is school is college courses for high school classes. Good school. Not the most intelligent sophomores, but I digress.
While, yes, I was a small weeaboo in middle school, I never really talk about anime any more.
I still enjoy animes, to an extent yes, but that’s not the problem.
Let’s call this girl, K. Since everyone at our school calls her Kat, though that’s not her real name. She is called Kat because of what she wears. Every day, without fail, she wears cat ears and cat contacts, with the tail.
It’s really distracting and at first, a few of us thought it was just a comfort thing. I emphasized with her, thinking that she would feel uncomfortable without the ears, seeing as I cannot go outside of my home without my binder or my breasts binded down. Being FtM, this is acceptable.
But her cat thing, was not comfort. I have her for Spanish; her Spanish is broken and often filled with broken Japanese. Her binder is covered in print out pictures of anime and she wears a Miku Hatsune necklace constantly. But she’s not all that bad. So I thought, okay, let’s talk and we had small conversations about anime.
Needless to say, I don’t like any of hers and she doesn’t like any of mine. But she is very “pro-yaoi” (her words, not mine) and is willing to support me. I appreciate it but I correct her with gay rights and she says, “Ew no. Gays are gross unless they’re in animes. Or unless they’re hot.”
She’s kind of sweet, sometimes, but if you even so much as mention her cat accesories, she grows mean. I onced mentioned that people wouldn’t think her so weird if she didn’t wear the accesories. She obviously didn’t forget it.
She had the audacity that, when I was removing my shirt for my nurse to observe a cut I had, to laugh at me and call me a freak. Well, K asks if I had a boyfriend. I told her, no, but I like a good friend of mine. And she asked me if they were a boy. They’re a trans man as well so naturally I answered yeah.
Worst mistake of my life.
She has continued to annoy me about my relationship with my friend and has slipped crude drawings of an anime me with an unfinished man performing vaginal intercourse saying, “OMGGGG I BET U 2 WOULD B SOOOO CUUTE 2GETHER.”
I’m almost sure this is her revenge for me mentioning her cat accesories. I think mentioning them again is better off not done.
TL;DR: Weeaboo girl that doesn’t support gay rights but supports yaoi has made fun of my transgender status and has begun to pair me up with a crush and give me crude drawings of sex that I will NEVER participate in. Just gah. I’ll give her a break for a bit since she IS a freshman.
