I once had (and still have) a friend that I met in fourth grade that’s making me reconsider my like of anime.
Let’s call this girl “A”.
I met A in fourth grade and we hit it off pretty well. I was into Death Note at the time and it was at recess that I met her. Of course, I opened my mouth and said, “Hey! You! You look like Misa-Misa!”. We became friends soon after. Then, it started taking a turn for the worse.
A became an uncontrolled mess. She would hang onto me, and hug onto me and latch onto me calling me “L~”. First off, At the time I was 5 feet exact, and had really dark hair. I told her to stop and she did for a while. This continued again through Fifth grade.
Then, at Sixth grade, I started to get into Hetalia. And so did she. At first, It was nice to talk about Hetalia. We created OC’s (The two I still RP as are Akihabara and Okinawa). The only problem is that her OC was not a country yet she was paired with Austria and he would let her hang onto his piano and sit on it. If you’re not into Hetalia, Austria is a bit of a mean and pompus character. He would usually never let anyone disrubt him during his piano time. This annoyed me, as that, Bella was a sociopath and could kill anything she wanted and got away with killing Liechtenstien and all the female characters. Aparrently, She also had lesbian sex with my OC’s in her spare time.
When ever I would refuse to allow my OC’s to partake in something like that against my will, She would try to choke me.
This year, I have gotten into Homestuck and fear for my safety. A is “afraid” of Gamzee and she randomly grabbed my wrist and tried to break it for just mentioning him in a conversation about our favorite Trolls from Homestuck. My wrist still hurts like hell…
TL;DR
Some people can be very dangerous when it comes to fandoms.

Alright I guess it’s time I finally confessed about my weeaboo phase, the probably lowest point in this phase was when I created my *~totally original~* naruto/bleach/D Gray Man/Yuyu Hakusho/ other anime OC, Mitsuki Takenare. And her story changed depending on the show, but did I mention in my own “well-drawn” manga she was an orphaned cat demon? Plus, I was one of those annoying kids on youtube who made videos pairing up their OC with all kinds of characters from the canon show. (Please tell me if the link isn’t working)
